JSDA was formed in 2013, giving students the opportunity to learn a variety of dance styles; Street Dance, Contemporary, Acro, Free Tap and Musical Theatre. Opening their doors in Chesham, JSDA offers a fun and relaxed approach to dance whilst still upholding the correct technique and discipline in each style. We believe in students learning the art of dance and not pushing them into exams or events, instead letting them enjoy movement, but help them to flourish should they wish to pursue a career in dance or the performing arts.
JSDA is proud to be affiliated with ISTD, Acrobatic Arts and iD-Company

The Hub & Marketing Manager
Vicky has been dancing since she was a young child, training in a variety of styles such as ballet, disco, contemporary and musical theatre. She won many competitions, studied Dance Studies at University and performed at theatres such as the London Palladium and the Milton Keynes Theatre. She's also appeared on ITV dancing alongside singers such as Jimmy Osmond, Mica Paris and the cast of Grease. Vicky is also a trained physio and exercise to music instructor.
Her passion for dance has never left her and she now shares that passion with her daughter.
Vicky works full time for a marketing agency, has a diploma in graphic design, co-hosts an evening radio show and (when she's not involved with JSDA) watching musicals and rom-coms. She is often quoted saying she wishes her life was like a musical... where everyone sings and dances and gets their happy ever after! (Although you can leave out Les Mis; whilst it's one of her favourites, she doesn't want her life to be set amidst the French Revolution!)
Her favourite style of dance is musical theatre and contemporary, her favourite choreographers are Bob Fosse and Matthew Bourne, and if she could be in any show it would be Chicago.
